Can anyone advise regarding the process of removing a pulley from the 3.6L Kenne Bell? I would like to be able to swap the pulley out myself at home, as opposed to having it done at the shop.

What specifically needs to be done to loosen the supercharger belt?

Will the pulley simply pop off after unscrewing the pulley bolts, or is some form of pulley puller required?

loosen bolts
use ratchet placed in tensionier to push the idler and add slack to belt
slip belt off
remove pulley
reverse

it's easier if you have a second set of hands

edit - you may need a pulley puller on the KB (Whipple you don't)

Seems pretty straightforward stkjock. Can anyone confirm whether a pulley puller is required on the 3.6 KB? I notice from Kenne Bell's website that they do sell a puller, but it is not clear if that applies to this blower.

You don't need a puller. I use the belt as a strap wrench when I change mine. It will hold while torquing also

Awesome - thanks y'all! An attempt will be made after work today to remove the pulley so I can install the new one when it arrives tomorrow (crossed fingers)
