Retrofits?

I tried oem style bulbs, then tried a moshimoto HID kit.
No matter what bulb you use, they are just ugly headlights.

What do these DEPO lights look like exactly? Are they supposed to be OEM replacements?

That is the actual set I bought. I just didn't like the way they look. They look aftermarket and out of place on our cars.

Eh, to each their own if you think they look like crap. I certainly liked how my old 98 looked with them. HIDs suck with them, they have a crap cutoff and aren't designed for HIDs anyway. HIR bulbs from Candlepower made them bright as **** and the harness powering them directly off the fuse box and not the crap wiring for the stock lights helped too.

I have Depo projectors on my 98, too. Mine are just the black version. I'll try the HIR bulb upgrade. I actually have a set of 9011's and 9012's from my old Jeep before I went with a HID retrofit.
