After seeing one in person, I like the look of them, but I’d rather have had the MACH 1 focused as a straight-line bruiser just a step below the GT500. Leave the corner-carving for a BOSS.

I don’t see this as parts-bin raided, sticker and paint edition Mustang at all, but it’s not grabbing the attention the way the GT350 and the GT500 did.

The first HP Mach that will be for sale to the public ran down the line earlier this month. So at this point nobody has a HP Mach. I know the gentleman getting it so when he does I'll post up some shots. Just an FYI, you can actually order a RSD but if you did it would have bumped your order to a later date due to whatever commodity issue Ford claims to be having...

RSD?
Roll Stability Datalogger?
Red Striped Dipstick?
Real Strong Donut?
Rally Sport Division?
Random Steakhouse Destination?
Retail Supplied Database?
Roush Sport Durango?
Ridge Sheet Drought?
Really Stupid Definition?

I’m trying but I can come up with anything that makes sense, lol.

It's shown in the latest OG as a FSO.

First off, if I posted it, it's true.:)

Yes, the photos were before the stripes were applied. Of interest is that Ford used the temporary wheels/tires that the GT350R cars used to use when rolling down the line and adds the Cup2's/bird basket wheels in the mod shop. The paint blotched wheels and tires then go back to the line for reuse on the next HP cars to come down the line. Same thing happens to CFTP GT500's, albeit with a 20" Base wheel.
A couple members in the FordTremor forum saying you are wrong on the Ford Pass app. Haha

I agree about the Voodoo V8... the last Mach 1 was special because it shared the 32 Valve V8 from the Cobra and had the Shaker Hood along with other retro touches.

While I think the new one looks nice, I don't think it differentiates enough for the price tag,

this, it's basically another bullet. 5.2 cross plane crank and now there's some interest.

I'm sure they'll sell most of them easy enough but I'll just be a broken record and say that for the same money you can buy any number of cars just a few model years older that are far cooler and will kick it's ass in every category outside of "being a mustang"

That price is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered one with handling package. Window sticker is $63385. Tons of options on mine. I don’t get how these dealers try to screw people.

In California they are asking for a 30k ADM for these!! No kidding. 90k asking price. It just sits there in the showroom. LOL.

@Ford Funatic, nice video and review. I especially liked your shifter comments. Sounds like Ford has an awesome 6-speed in the Mach 1. It LOOKS like it is super smooth. If you want an auto, buy a GT-500. If you must have a manual, this bad boy is the way to go IMO. Shame the ADM's are so freaking high, putting it out of reach for some who really want one and could just about afford sticker. :(

Thank you sir. That 6spd in the Mach 1 is incredible. I agree the GT500 is definitely the way to go in an auto.

So after watching some review videos on the youtubes and seeing a twister orange example with the HP, I put in a custom order with MAS while I was in Korea... they came in under MSRP fully optioned minus the voice activated NAV (who needs this anyway?). It's set to be built in the next couple months and delivered in February. Absolutely stoked!

Good luck getting it in February. I’ve had mine ordered since 3/05 and received 16 emails from Ford delaying it.Now there saying October. Really sucks. I thought I would have it by now. When I first ordered it they originally said May.

Honestly, I could wait an entire year, just as long as it will be made at some point lol. That's fairly disconcerting though.
