I realize people keep saying “tablets glued on dash” etc…

When you’re behind the wheel it’s seamless. The dash is so integrated into the open view through the wheel… you really have to spend some time driving one to appreciate it

Got my HP spoiler on yesterday too

Interesting you say that because when I sat in one I couldn't get my eyes off the tablets and I kind of felt like they were in my face.

Honestly everyone us entitled to their opinion and as long as you enjoy your car that's all that really matters.

S650 Looks like a huge swing and a miss with consumers.

First year sales
S550 - 2015 - 122,349
S650 - 2024 - 35,434 (projected)
Ford has had increasing revenues in the past 14 years ($B):

2023$176,191
2022$158,057
2021$136,341
2020$127,144
2019$155,900
2018$160,338
2017$156,776
2016$151,800
2015$149,558
2014$144,077
2013$146,917
2012$133,559
2011$135,605
2010$128,954
2009$116,283

Car manufacturing is a cyclical business. Higher interest rates and massive inflation are hurting customers.

Ford is still the only "pony car" manufacturer left. GM stopped the Camaro and foreign-owned Stellantis N.V. stopped the Dodge cars.

Ford raced a car at Le Man in 2024. They developed the Mustang Challenge Race Series, and the Mustang GTD.

My new 2019 Mustang GT350 is a great car (fast as stock). I've seen spy pics on a new ~2026 Shelby and a new Boss 302. I say Ford engineering will release the press details soon.

Please Ford; do the right thing and call the new mustang a Cobra. Also put the Godzilla in the mustang and make a Boss 429. I mean these are no brainers which may be tough for Ford as I think all the brains have left at this point.

Yeah, as the only pony car left and the first year of a new generation one would think sales would be through the roof. But nah, they are in the toilet, circling the bowl.

View attachment 1850407View attachment 1850410I have a Whippled 24 fwiw… car is nuts, I barely even look at my foxbody anymore,
It’s just so advanced and infinitely more reliable.
I keep it around 800 wheel, but it’s like 10 minutes to pulley swap to 900… a few cars have gone 1K plus already…
Simple, easy and just plain works.

I actually get races in this car because people expect it to be a slow stock untuned blah blah…

Gap TF outta cats, hawks, 500s

Great car. I like it, really do. I actually like the new interior on these cars.

BUT

1. You aint gapping anyone with those rear tires, so stop
2. There are exactly 0 blower cars that take 10 minutes to swap a pulley -- especially this car with the s550/s650 cramped ass engine bay
3. You are not making 800whp or 900whp on pump gas -- more like low 700s on pump gasoline.

To get to ~800 you'll need Octanium, Boostane, etc etc. To get 900+ you'll want e85 and a fuel system.

Wrong on all counts brother, I do run it on E30 though. Nitpicking fuel is weird to me.

Hope you get to spend some time in and around the new platform, then it will make more sense.

lol

This is not Forza there hero

Huh?

I have a 1000hp s550... I can promise you -- you aren't whooping on anyone with your 275mm all seasons out back there, lil budd.

Nitpicking fuel? JFC -- it's obvious you know nothing about what youre saying. All good.

When YOU spend some time around the "new" platform, come see me.

Who the **** is this guy?

Wow… y'all really got into your feelings.
K.
Yes I have a set of bias ply Rs for the track.

I was referring more to how well the traction control works with the new set up on the street.
