| The Service Engine Soon idiot light came on so I took my truck to the local mechanic who services our daily drivers. He plugged into the onboard computer and got these codes: P0354 Ignition Coil "D" Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction, and P1229 Intercooler Pump Driver Malfunction. I'm going to have it towed to a mechanic who knew my brother and was familiar with the truck. Can anyone give me more info, please? | |

354 is cyl #4 malfunction possible coil , wiring at coil or a driver problem from the pcm
A misfire code is pretty rare on these. It must have been missing for a while to throw the code. I would swap coils with a different cylinder and see if the problem moves.
p1229 is your ic pump not working..
P1229 - Supercharger Intercooler Pump (ICP) Pump Not Operating - The ICP DTC will be set when the PCM is calling for the pump to be operating but no current is being detected
Check you IC Pump Relay and see if it is still good then check your IC Pump Fuse
