I was was initially looking at the 13/14 GT 500's. But personally not my favorite body style. We decided on the GT 350 as I like the looks better.

It all depends on what a person wants.

I have to agree with those thinking they'd rather have a 2021-2022 new GT-500 vs. paying $61K for this one. Don't get me wrong, this is one hell of a nice '14 GT-500 with only 1,600 miles AND a manual 6-speed, but.....
I will say this @CobraBob If the new S650 Mustang program offers an all aluminum-supercharged boss 7 liter w/auto trans, I'll be all over it. We will see......;)

At 60k, I'd rather have a newer car, GT350 and put a blower on it and gap trinity GT500s.

Precovid these cars were in the 40s. I remember seeing a 14 GT500 that had 87k miles for $34k back in 2019. LOL

Apples to Oranges s550 vs s197. While I agree, most any coyote platform is better/cheaper/more cost effective for making big power -- that is not the reason most folks are going after the s197 gt500, particularly the 13/14 cars.

Looks are of course subjective, but the 13/14 cars look the best of any modern mustang IMO (my favorite is the Boss 302).

Also, last of the solid axle, and last of the tr6060.

Me personally, I'd gladly give up to around $55k for a clean 13/14 gt500 -- but probably not much more than that unless it was a wrapper car.

Arent those in the $100k neighborhood though? Thats a massive jump. You can get a spare S197 gt500 for that difference

For the most part yes, you're not touching a 20+ GT500 for under 90k. And for that price you can buy a 13/14 GT500 and a decent 03/04 cobra to go with it.

This. So so much more to a car than how cheap can you make big power.

Like the GT with a bolt on blower vs 03/04 cobra guys.

A 13/14 GT500 will always be the king Mustang imo, factory supercharged 5.8l with a 6 MT.

GT350 with a blower is just that, a GT350 with an aftermarket blower on it.

I had a 2013, and a 2014 GT500. Loved them. The 2014 had a glass roof, favorite option on it.

Both had tons of power and were fun to drive.

They definitely were the King of the Mustang world...until the 20+ GT500 came out.

Still are? Having a 'real 6-speed' doesn't make it any more of a performance vehicle. lol

It's slower. Period. The 7-speed DCT is better in every aspect. If you'd rather sit around with your hand on your knob, I get it, but I'll be flying past you with both hands on the wheel.

I'll put my 2013 SS against any 20+ GT500 ford performance any day.

What? That ford performance selector switch is just as heavy. Im just jk'in with you.You should schedule a plant tour to watch your GT500 get built here at the mustang plant when it gets scheduled for build. Im holding out and hoping the S650 Boss 7 liter comes to reality.
