Rules for "voting".
1) You MUST own a GT500
2) You MUST post your data in a separate post. A dyno sheet would be appreciated
3) Please use SAE correction. If you don't, you must post what is being used.

This has been made a public pole to keep it honest.

run 1 and 2 are stock...the rest are with a tune. Only 200 miles on the car at the time.

I have had 8 mustang's from 5L 's to 01/03& 04 Cobra's & now a Shelby.I have never had one of my cars on the dyno but always on the track.Yesterday I put my Shelby on the dyno just for fun & here are the results. The only mod is a Flowmaster axel-back.
1st run 448HP @ 6000rpm & 454# of TQ @ 4250rpm
2nd run 451HP @ 6000rpm & 449# of TQ @ 4500rpm
3rd run 431HP @ 6250rpm & 437# of TQ @ 4250rpm
4th run 434HP @ 6250rpm & 432# of TQ @ 4500rpm

all runs were back to back on a Dynojet & airfuel was averaged out to 12 runs 3 & 4 had the rev-limiter raised to 6500rpm.

Surprises me that the HP dropped that much from consecutive runs. I wonder if the Cobra is the same way? If so I will never do a hot lap again.

Are you going back to the J&P shootout in mid Oct? You interested in coming drag racing the following weekend Oct 21st ( SVT club event)?

In my experience any SC car needs a good cool down between runs weither on the Dyno or at the track. All my Dyno runs where made within 15 minutes so yes she was heat soaked.I don't think I will be able to return for the completion of the J&P shootout as I will be racing here in mtl.

I wonder if people that are voting that don't have Shelby's are aware that this is a public poll and we can see who vote's what?

Sorry, I guess I did not read all the rules. They are nice cars, wish I could afford one.

Any way you could add another option, "I don't have a GT500" so we can click it once and then easily follow the results? Otherwise, I have to keep clicking "View results" without voting every time I read this thread.
