I figured there are a good bit of IT professions on this site, so it couldn't hurt to ask.

I am running into a situation that hopefully someone has encountered before.

The printer is configured with three paper drawers, with three different paper medias. While trying to print a three page PDF, I need page one of the PDF to pull from tray 1, page two from tray 2, and page three from tray 3.

I know there isn't a setting in the driver, and I have been searching high and low for a software that does it, but I am getting no where quickly.

Has anyone run across this, or knows more about something? Cost of the software doesn't matter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Off the top of my head, if its a PDF, just print the first page only.

Then swap paper around, print second page only.

Swap paper again, and print 3rd page only. Sounds like the simplest way?

I totally understand what you are saying, but the print jobs are in large volumes so it would be too much extra work.

It would take some research to understand fully the problem, but if the page type is embedded in the document, configure the printer to know what paper is in each tray either through the printer or the print driver in Windows. Then hit print

Take a look at this:

File -> Print -> Page Setup

You can, from here, select which tray the page will print from. You will need to do this for each page. So to change the pages go to the File -> Print and then select the page you want to edit.

Let me know if that works for you.

Then from there you should be able to make it print multiple copies while keeping the settings saved. I have never done this so I hope it works.

What version of Adobe are you using? This is from X.
