There was already a thread on this but it's been dead over a year and didn't want to resurrect it...so mods if you want to merge then go for it. I've found that many car guys tend to be watch guys as well. So post up what you are wearing, what's in your rotation, etc. I'm always looking for ideas from fellow watch enthusiasts. No bias here...post up anything from your $10 quartz watch you bought at Walmart up to your Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Tourbillon! Anything goes.

A few of mine to get things started...

Ever since getting my Garmin Fenix 5S Plus, I don't wear my other watches very much. It's really handy to be able to see texts/emails/calls and not have to grab my phone.

not at my post...
Subscribing since I'd like a new watch. I've been looking at Longines Hydrocongquest or Tag Aquaracer. What're your thoughts?

I love my Aquaracer, have been wanting to get a Speedy Pro too. I have really abused my Aquaracer too, dropped, worn while wrench on cars, working out etc. This watch has taken virtually no damage and hasn’t missed a beat.

Both are nice divers. I believe they both use ETA movements. The HC will retain closer its original value, whereas the Tag will take on some massive depreciation. That being said if buying new...I'd buy the HC. If getting pre-owned then I'd get the Tag because someone else will have eaten the depreciation. I own both and quite honestly they are both great divers in their own right. If you want to save a few bucks and get an equally good diver that I think looks better than both of them...look at the Tissot Seastar. It punches way above its weight. Its probably my favorite diver and they can be had for under $500 new if you shop right.

I posted many of mine in the previous thread years ago it seems. Where as I'm a Citizen Fan with maybe 8 but who also owns a few Tags the only watch I wear now is an Apple Watch. Not as cool, stylish etc etc and I agree but it does 100000 more stuff.

Have a Nixon Player that used to be my daily but it's broken and I just haven't sent it out to be repaired yet

Don't see myself getting another watch for a while but I've been browsing through Nomos's stuff.

QUESTION: where do you guys recommend getting new bands/straps for your watches?

At one point on my life I had several high end watch. I've owned Ernst Benz, Panerai, Omega, Breitling and UBoat. I loved them all but h awe be found that as I get older other priorities and hobbies trump thousands of dollars in watches.

As of right now I wear my Citizen EcoZilla that's moded with suppaparts strap adapters and a nice silicon strap. I also have a couple G Shocks a Suunto and my grandfather's 1960's Rolex and Seiko. I'll take pictures of the antiques later but have attached my daily.

I ordered and had brought in an Omega Speedmaster Professional from my watch guy, but ultimately I backed out. My refunded deposit just to have the Omega brought in purchased all three of these! Plus the blow was softened by the lookalike Omega Tissot. LOL

Same here, I have actually sold some of my higher-end watches, because I simply don't wear any watch but the Garmin.

I have this same watch! Best watch ever if your active. I use it for skiing, golfing & running. Battery lasts forever...Charge mine once every 2-3 weeks. Dumped my Samsung Gear for this.
