I've had 4 mustangs my first 3 had flowmaster. So with my current one i wanted to try something different and went with slp. Money gone to waste, 1000 miles later and flowmaster went in. I've heard lm1 & lm2 and flowmaster on a 97 cobra with an o/r h-pipe. The flowmaster gets a LOT more compliments than slp. That's my experience. There are better mufflers out there but flowmaster sounds better than slp

I have the slp lm1 catback on my 01 with just two cats and it sounds absolutely good man is just perfect not too raspy or too quiet is perfect for the folks that don't like the loudness lol as for me I'm still getting me an off road x pipe to wake up the neighbors

I have had the Flows, Magnapacks, LM1s, and now LM2s. The LM2s are BY FAR the best sounding exhaust. I have vids somewhere on here. Here's one from youtube Hard start on street tires - YouTube
Doesn't sound like the other Mustangs out there. The sound at WOT is seriously the best thing ever. BTW, this is with Hooker long tubes and o/r x pipe. I have had all these muffler combos with this setup. The flows sounded like butt without the cats, the Magnapacks sounded ricey to me, the LM1s roared on WOT but sounded like a can of bolts at anything less.

I should really get a vid of my car going through a tunnel!
I have bassani off road x and magna flows and i love the sound loud and aggressive but only over 2500 rpm so driving on highway its not very loud in 5th.

Thank you stangbanger for the comparison video, I was positive I wasnt going LM1's, they sound too much like a chinese firework display everytime you hit the accelerator. I think im definantly sold on the LM2's, between everybodies opinions and advice here and hearing many many MANY clips.

And yeah, it is a DD, so in general im most likely going to keep it N/A and even if I eventually go blower itll be at a super low PSI. But back to the subject, in terms of exhaust note, I want it to be the car that you hear from a mile away and go "Yep, thats franks cobra." lmao. I mean I drive safe and never really speed or do anything wrong on the road, unless you give the cops a reason to bother you they wont. Ive decided that im going to go SLP LM2 catback, and eventually going towards Kooks long tube headers and catted X pipe.

For some opinions, has anybody had long tubes put on? Ive heard of people losing a bit of torque and having clearance problems. Also is catless worth it? I believe it is but I dont want it like, unbearably shitty loud. Thanks again guys!
