So. Problem #1

I have a Metal Rattle, Sounds like the exhaust. It may be the clamps, I'm not sure. But its pretty bad when you first start it up, But after driving around a little, It goes away, Its non existant when you drive. But When you idle long enough, It starts back up. So meh. It does not bother me THAT much, I'd just like to get rid of it ;-)

Problem #2

Well, When cruising on "Bad" Roads, I hear a Squeak every time I hit a bump or two, On every bump. Kind of annoying. Anybody care to chim in on this? Bushing maybe? I'm not sure. Anybody care to help me on this one?

So, I guess today is not today, Passenger Window Won't go up, Just down (Posted in another Sub-forum) Squeak and rattles, Yay! But I know its almost a 9 year old car. It does not change the fact that It sounds amazing, Gets constant looks. And Handles like a dream. But anyways if you all could help a Fellow out, It would be very much appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Gonna have to pin point the sounds. Get an automotive stethoscope and listen to the top and bottom of the motor including the manifolds/piping of the exhaust.

Squeak coming from the front? When you did the springs did you put the isolators back in?

I have no idea what is squeeking or rattling on your car, from the description you used...BUT, what I CAN tell you is you may want to look into some braces to stiffen her up a bit. ie: FLSFC's, strut tower brace, etc. Braces like these help A LOT with the rattles and squeeks, and help you enjoy a rattle free ride!

It Turned out the rattle was I left one of my socket wrench extensions between the crack between the Front window and the Hood. So no more Rattle, Just a squeak After I drive the car around longer then a hour. It already has Full Length Subframes. Just a FYI. I'm probably going to look into some braces.

Squeeks and rattles drive me crazy! I have a "creak" coming from the rear passenger side of the car that has me irritated. I'm hoping that some sound deadening material will cure the noise.

Congrats on picking up my old Cobra! The squeaking is probably because I didn't put the spring isolators back in (except for the bottom rears).

After I cut my springs (top & bottom iso's in) I'll hear a "squeak" every now and then if I hit a bump hard.

Were any iso's removed when those H&R race springs were installed? That could be the squeak you're hearing...mine is very audible with both iso's in.

I have squeaks and rattles covered, try driving a vert with no SFCs on it. It rattles on both sides inside the speaker panel behind the door, rattles in the trunk area, rattles inside the dash, rattles in the passenger door. The front suspension squeaks and moans over every single lump in the road, the back suspension just clunks on a regular basis. I've learned to just tune it out.

I had a squeak in the rear everytime I hit a bump. Turned out my eibach rear sway bar was rubbing on the diff mount when it twisted due to the bar being thicker than stock. Ground down the mount a little and no more sqeak.
