So since I have been out of the scene for about four years, what has been found out about different setups? How are the whipple vs kb cars doing? What about turbos? Supporting mods? What will I need to produce 700 rwhp on an 03/04 Cobra? And still be a reliable street driven car.

Thanks for the help in advance, I want to do it right the second time around.

Will

Yeah I guess that would be a big part, sorry for the 03/04 Cobras. Am I up to par on what? Sorry I didn't understand the question.

I watched a KB 2.8H make well over 700

but then it shredded the belt...

I meant up to par on Ford engines in general. Like the 3 valve SOHC 4.6L.

On average I think the twin turbo'ed cars make 700. But I'm also pretty sure the engines are built from the ground up. Go on youtube and type turbo cobra. I think the first result is a Cobra that is claimed to be a daily driver with like 850hp.

A big single or a smaller set of twins will get you to 700rwhp pretty easily. But a big twin screw car will also get you there. With a turbo car, the cost is going to be a factor. I love the way a turbo cars feels. But it's just a matter of personal preference. Go for a ride in both and then decide what you want to do.

Ok thanks for the advice. About what is the cost difference?

Generally
Turbo=big initial investment, better HP for the buck down the road though
Supercharger=Smaller initial investment, but your dollar per HP is gonna go up as you continue

Why is that? I am dumb when it comes to turbo's.

Then you really shouldnt be playing with turbos.

And he said that because, a Twin Screw will only take you so far for HP. Even with a built motor and the smaller pulley you can get your hands on.

Turbo other the other hand, if you've got money the sky's the limit.
