So, why is it so hard for women to use tin foil?

I have a 500’ roll of commercial grade wide foil I use for ribs, brisket and pull pork butt. Yet my wife every time she does chicken or stuff, basically anything in the oven with cheese and crap she refuse’s to use it. It makes cleaning the baking pans a bitch. I’ve told her at least a million times. Just throw that shit away instead of soaking the sheets to soften the residue. Must be a girl thing.

I can't comment. Wife has a commercial size roll of saran wrap with the charaded cutter on top. I just can't seem to use that without trouble. I'm just not cut out to be a sandwich maker.

You're trying to use logic and reason to come up with a simpler solution to the cheese/crap on baking sheets problem from your wife

Here's where I think you went wrong:
1 - trying to find a solution
2 - trying to find a simple solution
3 - trying to convey a simple solution using logic and reason

+1 on the saran wrap for me.
Have a 500’ roll of that too. Don’t buy the cheap shit.

Have you ever been married? She just refuses to use it. Same as her dishing food out on the glass top range. Way easier to clean the Cambria quartz counters than the cook top.

Y’all trained her well then. Next question, does she cook?
Sheeeeeeeeeeit

I haven't trained her at all. I just went into it knowing she's gonna do things the way she wants and she's gonna want me to things her way.

Over the 10+ years we've been together I've just found ways to make it look like shit's done her way.

No she does not cook, she's responsible for taking care of a 4mo old. I do the cooking. Granted, I did all the cooking before baby came, but she cleaned everything then.

Crinkly press and seal type is 100x easier to use than the stretchy plastic.

Also tin foil on every baking/roasting pan. There is some thought it bad for you. I figure if it takes a minute off my life everytime I use it, it's a net win to not waste 2 minutes scrubing burnt on cheese.

Well ****.

I’ve been making cheese bread for spaghetti for years without aluminum foil…

It’s the little things I guess.

So right. On so many levels. Coworker and I have had this conversation MANY times. Logic and reason. Most women aren't wired that way.

Personal experiences with Saran wrap and/or aluminum foil.
Me: No issues. No worries.
Wife: No issues. No worries.

After 50 years of marriage, we've learned how to choose our battles carefully and wisely. :ROFLMAO:

Yes, choosing the battles is the trick. Working on half your married years (will be 25 this year), but figured out lots of things just don't matter lol
