Yep, another set of axlebacks for sale ...
Selling my second-hand 3” Kooks axlebacks. The axlebacks are in excellent condition and have low miles on them (about 300 by the first owner and <200 by me). Part no. 11406600 to fit 11 to 14 Mustang GTs.
$325 shipped to the lower 48 states.
Backstory:
I bought these in late May from member “rics73” (here’s his sale thread: https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/kooks-axle-backs.1174416/).
I was looking for a little more sound volume that the FRPP GT500 Tourings on the car now and figured that the Kooks were worth looking at. The mufflers were on my car for a couple of weeks in late June/early July and I added less than 200 miles to them.
Full disclosure: there is a hint of drone (to my ears) around 1,900 RPM but my Lethal OTA pipes have no factory resonators.
The Kooks came off in early July and they have been safely wrapped and boxed in the original shipping container. Lots of additional pictures (bottom, top, inlet, outlet, bubble wrapped for shipping, etc.) if you want to see more.
