Sorry to hear that you hit that big rock that resulted in a good bit of (repairable) damage. I have to ask, though, was there much debris paint damage to your front bumper on your road trip? I can see bug guts and all, but was wondering if you ended up with the typical smaller paint chipping from all the highway driving, especially if you were behind big rigs.

Thanks for the videos and the great photos! Despite the damage from hitting the rock, you had a great time.
I think perhaps two new chips is all I noticed during the post trip spa day. I'll get a Dr. Colorchip kit in the spring and make those disappear.

I kept my distance from other traffic while on the freeway to minimize debris damage. There is not a lot of traffic out West, so it was pretty easy most of the time to maintain distance.

Thankfully the rock strike produced no visible damage from the shiny side, and it's all under the car. Appointment scheduled for April to have it repaired.
