The Toohighpsi kit works in conjunction with the DI setup. You will probably need to upgrade your low side fuel system as well to supply the added fuel needed from the tank side to the high/rail side depepending on your power goals.

It is similar to how GM did the C7 ZR1. Same LT4 high side parts (I’m currently using) with an added Port Injection setup.

My low side is good for 1300hp. I’m running a cam with a +32% fuel lobe so it overdrives the high side pump too. Still limited to about 850whp without supplemental port or the Lingenfelter pump and XDI +30-65% DI injectors. That is a 6-7k proposition for parts alone. Meth is an option but I don’t want to rely on it for additional fueling and have a $200 pump failure take out my built short block.

Coyote fuel system upgrade: Injectors and pumps.

LT fuel system upgrade:

You chose violence leaving that motor in the car lol

Couple hours into disassembly, we realized the ZLE is built around the radiator

Well done. Great looking in person. Followed one into work last spring and they’re good looking cars. Plus manual.

Motor is back together. Did a shake out dyno run on pump gas and did ~750. I need to burn up the shit gas that is in it and then will fill it up with E and dial up the timing. >850 whp seems like a reasonable expectation.

Tires are a PIA. The ZLE wheels are factory forged 19/12.5. Awesome wheels. But I am pretty limited in what I can put on the rear. There are guys running fully built motors with 2650s on the Goodyear super car tires LOL.

I went with 888s all around. The reviews on these tires are mixed from what I can tell. This is what the Calvo Viper guys run so they cant be that bad.

True it’s limited on tires.
I was in same decision process with the OEM CF wheels I bought for my ‘22 GT500. Went 315/30 front 325/30 rear R888Rs as well and looking forward to their street traction.
Those aren’t cheap but for the balance I’m looking for ‘should’ be perfect.

The R888R is OK at best on a road course, but that's because they do offer decent straight line grip relative to most track day tires.

What's your plan with this car Klaus?

from what i've gathered, that's all that'll hook unless you goto a drag radial.

probably will be my next set also, as the road course by me closed. gonna enjoy her in a straight line for awhile, until it no longer makes sense.

Let me know what you learn for optimal pressure and I will do the same. My understanding is that the sidewalls are pretty stiff so there will be a bit of trial and error.

888r's hook well. They are a little loud, but they are the closest thing you can get to a DR.

Making progress. Tuner just did a pull with E40 and it did 840 whp. Low side fuel pump broke so it looks like I will be getting a new one. I have to say that I impressed with the mickey mouse LT4 blower.

I’m curious how hard the Reflex Plus controller is to tune. I’ve been throwing around the idea of adding the Toohighpsi kit. I wish it were around when I had my car built 2yrs ago.
