Just curious if anyone has upgraded the Sound system/Speaker system on a non B&O Technology Package vehicle?

Would adding a power amp and upgrading all the speakers and adding a Sub-Woofer make it sound better? For $3K could do some upgrades with a quality system it seems.

What else does the Technology package include besides the Sound system, anything else?

Definately. No matter what speakers and cheesy amp and subwoofer it might include it pails in comparison to any after market set-up. Not even in the same league. The Bang and Olufsen is still garbage imo and thats what u upgrade to.

There is no factory sound system that will compare to putting ur own system together but that often means a custom box for the subwoofer and tweeters.

Tweeter u could probably get away with the factory location but ur limited cause they are really small tweeters that come from the factory. So u would have to make sure new tweeters can fit and quality tweeters usually have a bigger foot-print but not always.

Hertz makes a nice 2-way or 3-way with a really small tweeter that would surely fit. For $3k u could surely piece together something WAY better.

The technology package includes heated mirrors, blind spot, led door lamps and sattelite radio I think and something else I cant remember.

Thanks my friend and everyone else for the feedback.

I've seen the Shelby Snake emblem light that projects on the ground by the door. Is that part of Technology package or standard feature?

For safety reasons, voice activated Navigation and all the features built into the mirrors would seem to be standard equipment you would think.
