what did you guys' run when your cars were stock my best time has been a [email protected] does that seem slow, it was in the end oct about 65 at etown in nj 2.1 60ft bone stock 20psi in tires, 2 friends of mine cars were trapping around 110 stock, what do you think

60' was about a 2.100.Speed shifting at 6,400 rpm.
i dont care much of the time i've run, it just seems my mph was low
12.62 @ 111 stock. Good crisp night, and good track prep. Then with 2.8", air filter, and Predator have gone 12.18 @ 114.6, but have trapped 115.5 as my best mph. The 12.18 was a 1.81 short time on the stock goodyears. The car routinely goes 1.8's-1.9's in the 60ft.

you traped very low i have no pullie and i trap at 116 and run 12.4 i have chip, intake, magmaflow x pipe and cat back and a steeda short shifter and a soild rear but still get 2.0 60, ft street tires.

I'm thinking its the full stock exhaust that is hurting the traps? But I like the fact its very quiet.

i've seen 12.4 @ 116 before on a bone stock cobra down to the air filter....wasn't my car, and im not sure if that speed is right, but i think thats what he told me?

Don't feel bad, my first 2 passes were in the 14's because I couldn't figure out how to launch the damn car without wheel hop killing the run. My best run on that night was a traction less 13.9 @ 105. Needless to say, I didn't hook until halfway through third gear. My 60's ranged from 2.2-2.5 all night. With these cars, it's all in the launch. If you cut a 1.8-1.9 60' then you should be in the 12's easy. What can we say, practice makes perfect. :beer:
i live in california and all the 03/04 cobras run 13.2-13.7 at 108-105.A couple of them are my buddies and they know how to launch their cars and they still dont break 12s.my buddy ran 13.38 with a 1.92 60ft at 106.the only cobras around here that run 12s are the ones that have pulley swaps and drag radials.my brothers bone stock 98 LS1 Z28 ran 12.54 with a 1.76 60ft at 110.15 with slicks and long tubes.my 93 LT1 with shorties and a 75 shot on street tires ran 12.58 with a 2.11 60ft at 116.79.
13.1@110and change stock. Predator out of the box performance tune only knocked it down to 12.7@112. Then added a 2.8 pulley, NGK plugs, pro5.0 shifter, steeda Cai and a revised tune from James at RWTD and that knocked it down to 12.3@116. Added Bfg Drags and a Magnaflow Catback and ran 11.9@118. No passes were powershifted.
