Got the 'ole girl on the rollers today to see what she could do. 55,0xx miles and I bought her new in April 2012. Figured there's not many around that's still able to show stock numbers.

Was a perfect day for a pull: low humidity and 55 degrees.

This was on a MD-500.

Edit: I do have an Airaid SynthaMax dry filter and Ford resonator delete.

Obligatory photo with the shop car.

Yeah, very decent numbers. So, any modding plans for the future? Or do you prefer to keep it pretty much stock.

Amazing! Just as powerful as new, 50,000 miles later! Bone stock, with 1000 miles my 2010 did 475rwhp.

More than likely it will remain stock. I may pulley/tune it, and if I do, this was a good baseline.
8 % drive-train loss ?
Way better than my 11 or 14 did on their baseline pulls..
I was a bit flabbergasted honestly. I did the math and told Grifftuned that I was expecting 470 at the best.

Maybe that Airraid is worth more than we all thought!

Header stated " stock ", to me stock = how it came from the factory. When I baselined both cars, they were as they came from the factory..

I don't get hung up on semantics. I thought it was pretty well accepted that an Airaid washable filter and a resonator delete were not power adders on these cars and my comment was made in jest. My tires are not from the factory either, so maybe they added power? Kudos to Michelin!

Mods, remove "stock" from title if you wish, but its probably one of the last few 11/12 cars that hasn't been mechanically modified. I know of another one with 6,000 miles that parks next door, but he has an Airaid too, so he may not qualify either.

No big deal, your " stock " and my " stock " are different.
Maybe a better & less confusing term would be OEM.
.
So your header could read, " Almost OEM 2012 GT500 Dyno Results "..

Well high flow filters have been proven to gain to power. How much just depends
So, it looks as thought Airaid claims "increased power and acceleration".

Going back to the math, we all thought a stock 12 should be in the 265 range. If one can truly pick up 40HP with a filter and resonator delete, it should be the first mod anyone does.

I guess we all forget that the Copperhead is a " learning " computer, make changes, the computer reacts. It's the reason I could upgrade from a twin 65mm to a mono-blade, gain 20+ whp, & not adjust the tune.
...............For the OP:
Go to a "classed / judged " car show, ( 3 ) mods from stock " usually " puts you in a modified class................& has nothing to do with performance..

That's why I don't go car shows (to be judged). My car isn't for others. Couldn't care less what those pretentious judges have to say.

Great numbers on a mild bolt-on car!

Now, take it to the next level and let’s see what it does.

Why am I not surprised !!
I really don't understand you issue/angle.

Why are you not surprised? I have no idea. I said from the start it has 55,000 miles? I mistakenly called it stocked when it has $100 in air intake mods? I don't put it in car shows because I don't spend countless hours detailing a car I want to drive in more than I clean it? What have I done to skew this perception of yours?

My goal in 2012 was to buy a GT500 and drive the snot out of it. I've done so. I don't need more power. I don't need others telling me whats wrong with it. I don't need to fix the 3 dents in it. I mechanically take care of her and will drive her into the dirt.

Stop being some sort of judgemental dude and regard from negatively commenting on somebody's effort to provide information.
