Work fine for me. I run 93 octane as a primary fuel though. E85 on occasion.

Thanks Steve! How long have you been running E85 through the stock pumps/fuel system?

Have you upgraded or changed any other components?

My plan is to do the exact same. 91 pump and E85 for once in a blue moon track days.

I would assume they wouldn't support much power on E85.

I don't believe they are compatible, but even if they are, they won't flow enough to do much with it. Most are running twin 465's from the threads I've read.

With a 30% increased fuel requirement I bet you are right. Don't the stock cobra pumps support about 480-515 RWHP now without a BAP?

30% more for E85 will require a BAP or larger pumps no doubt

I run the 465s on my car.
This is after three Walbro 400s failed.
After we found out they weren't "all fuels compatable"

I've run 7.13@101mph in the 1/8 with a 4" upper, stock lower, E85, BAP.

Yes but you are an "SVT God"
My car was faster just because you were there!!

Yup that's all they support. There only like dual 110LPH. You would have to run a bap to get 500hp on E85. Im sure injectors are maxed too.

My plan is to do the exact same. 91 pump and E85 for once in a blue moon track days. I have a BAP and want to add just 60lb injectors and put an E85 tune in it.

I have a KB BAP on my car now and make 483 hp / 501 tq.

If I go E85 and add 60lb injectors, will the stock pumps with BAP flow enough for my limited mods (see flow quote below)?

Stock Cobra...........................................238 lph
Dual Focus (SVT, no BAP).........................286 lph
Dual Walbros (no BAP)..............................316 lph
Kenne Bell BAP/Stock Pump Combo.............378 lph
Dual Aviators ...........................................412lph
Dual Focus (w/BAP).................................429 lph
Dual GT................................................ .510 lph

Based on my rough calculations:

60lb injectors are > 30% increase in flow over stock
KB BAP on stock pumps are > 30% increase in flow over stock

Has anyone else tried this approach?

Did you ever attempt this? I know it's a older thread but some updated Info needed.

There is a guy that's running pullied, no port with 60's + bap (stock pumps) on e85. He's making about 485whp if I remember correctly. So yes, it can be done. Add a port to the mix and an aggressive pulley setup and you would probably max out.

That's what I figured. Was hoping to have mine done on the corn by november for a track rental. But i'll just stick with 93+ torco for now until I get my pumps and hat.
