I'm sure it is here somewhere, but I didn't see it.
What is the largest tire size you can fit on a completely stock '04 Cobra?
The car will be street driven only, if that matters.
Thanks

Anything other than a 275/40/17 looks goofy. From a safety stand point id recommend staying with that size.

I guess I should have also said " and not look stupid".
I wouldn't want the sidewalls bulging out.
I guess I would just like to fill the fender well up a bit.

its just easier to by a 10.5 inch replica wheel to get the desired look. Its better to do it right rather than have it look like an afterthought.

A 10.5" replica would be a good move.

Mike, what is your goal? Wider all around? Rear only?

I don't have an exact goal right now. I've left it stock for this long. Just on the street, so I guess when you get down to it is more for appearance. I never liked how empty the rear wheel wells look. I'm going to need new tires before long and I thought it would be the time to see what I could do. I did think about bigger wheels on the back, thinking that with directional tires, I wouldn't be able to rotate tires. It sounds like I might not be able to do much with stock rims.
