Struggling removing half shafts.....

Any tricks to getting them out. Had to exert an extreme amount of force to remove drivers side and using more than that and still can't remove the other side. Any tricks to making it easier??? Everything's free just need to pry it out of the pumpkin.

Any tips are appreciated.

I watched the video and for him the shaft just falls out. I'm telling you I've got a shit ton of pressure prying and it's not coming out. I'm ready to take the oxy torch and cut that botch out. Tried turning the shaft thinking maybe the clip needs to be in just the right spot for it to come out. Buddy I talked to said he had hell of a time as well. It can't be that difficult.

Finally got it. Had a buddy putting a good amount of pressure as I tapped on it with rubber hamper and she popped out.

He had to pry his and he had a helper like you, it takes 2 people!
