I installed a 2.8 KB on two GT500's this week, and there is no need to buy one of those for "power". One was tuned for 91 octane and made about 780rwhp, and the other was tuned for 100 octane and made almost 820rwhp. Not bad for only $6,000. The only problem was that they were making so much torque they were causing our 5'' aluminum driveshaft to hit the floor pan. We are now ordering a smaller steel one instead.
