For anyone that wants these Alcoa wheels, keep an eye out on Ebay. I saw that a couple ended with no bids and the starting price was pretty much MSRP, I bet the resellers may unload them at a wash soon.

Please post links to these ended auctions with no bids in the $2K price range for a full set of Alcoa wheels........Retail cost on these wheels was approx. $500ea. I have not seen a set listed for $500 x 4 ($2K) in months, maybe even 2 years.

Even if they are "pretty much" at MSRP..........$2300, $2500, I haven't seen that kind of price either.........Now $3K+, I have seen them listed in that $$$ range, but that is well above MSRP, by like $250 per wheel more than MSRP.

The most recent ended auction, $2500 no bids. The set I just bought with caps were almost $2600 shipped from shelby.

O.k., thanks for the update, the price has gone up a little with the release of the 50th's. Minus shipping and caps they were $2300 or so for the four bare Alcoas?

My bet is that once the newer wheels have run lower in supply, the demand will still be there, and the supply will be less. I think the guys who "wished they had bought", but didn't, will drive the price again.........

I'm surprised these $2500 Alcoa's have a bid without center caps when a set with centers ended without a bid.

One thing I did notice, there are many sets for sale right now on eBay, a buyers market..........as I mentioned above the supply will drive the price, once the supply gets thin again.

and then linked below, it almost makes you wonder why there are 3 bids on the $3650 (with caps) when there is a $2500 set for bid with no caps?? The caps are not $1000+.

Ebayers are strange, buy it nows end unsold and auctions will end at a much higher price than the buy it now. I guess people want to "win" even if it will cost more in the end.

Love those rims...not sure which I like better- chrome or black. Koz, how hard was it to install your Eleanor scoops? Had those for a few months and waiting for the warmer weather to install.
