Thanks guys. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make this place what it is, and we're only about 50% finished with what I have planned for the latest updates.
One thing I would ask is that you invite like-minded enthusiasts to the site wherever you may find them. The big social media platforms are not friends of performance enthusiasts. I can see them cracking down on anything they view as a contributing to climate change in the next couple years, and our chosen hobby will be an easy target.

There's a reason I have stuck around here for so long. I love this place. I love you guys. It's a pretty tight community here on SVTP and I've always been happy to be a part of it.

I've been on this forum for over 16 years (hard to believe it's been that long) and I never even owned a Mustang or SVT vehicle - in fact the only Ford I've owned was a 97 Escort lol. Still, of all the forums that I've been a member, this is the only one I continue to visit daily, remain active. I don't see that changing anytime soon. I'm just glad Travis never sold out to Internet Brands, like a lot of the forums did, because it seems to be the kiss of death for these online communities.
This forum follows suit on what America was built on. Freedom. It respects all equally unless you prove undeserving of such. This place attracts many like-minded people, but even the fruit cakes are welcome so as long as they can take/dish out the punishment. Everyone is fair game at any time.
Admin/moderating team makes it all possible thanks to their thick skin, hands off / censorship free approach. Even they take their licks.

I'm not on near as much as I used to be, but the shear diversity of topics is hard to find anywhere else.
"Pics that make you LOL" and the politics forum are always good for a few daily check-ins.
The crazy thing is- this place used to be even tighter knit. I met some of my closest friends in this crazy place.

I'm newer here and happy to find this forum still thrives while many other ones I use to be on are ghost towns.
This is the only forum I post on now. Lost interest in the others I’ve been on. I like seeing the same names here and you get a feel for the members and you can haze eacth other within reason, and we are for the most part all adults and a lot of guys here have some badass stuff. I’ve had 5 mustangs now and have used the info I seen here on all of them.
I think of this place as a local small town bar where everyone from the judge, to the cops, mechanics, the bankers, teachers, machinists, etc get together after work to blow off steam, share information, and discuss the news around town. Occasionally a fight breaks out, but all is forgiven after a gentleman's handshake.
Alternatively, we're all just nuts in the insane asylum that is SVTP.
I've definitely made a few acquaintances here.
Hell, babies have been made because of SVTP.
Yep, Barry and have become good friends. Even vacation a few times together with our wives. Not in a few years due to the Rona though.

This here ain't a bad little forum. when I got the GT500 I joined all the associated forums. This is the only one I frequent anymore.
It reminds me of the good old days of the ZRXOA, of which I'm a member, which I joined back in ought 8. Of course it has changed hands a few times and gotten a little "kinder and gentler" with each transition, so much so, I spend very little time there now. Mainly I steal memes from here and post them there. ;-)
I joined the "other" forum just as it changed hands and could see the results of the transition. Met a few of the fellows there while back to my hometown for Thanksgiving a few years ago, really solid chaps but I just couldn't take the way the powers that be managed the website, to put it nicely.
looking forward to meeting some of youse guys in the future.
