So up tomorrow is a YUGE change for the Mach 1. I have purchased a complete 2004 Terminator drivetrain to swap! 50k miles on it and includes everything from the supercharger to the oil pan, back to the T56 transmission and driveshaft! Gonna start the removal of the stock 4 valve engine tomorrow and start installing the Terminator heart!!
Sorry I missed this. Yes they are 18-9 front and 18-10.5 AFS wheels I just got from their Ebay auction. Scored them brand new from AFS for $650 shipped. I love 'em!
Drove into the shop at 8AM as a bone stock Mach 1. At 7PM I drove it home as a Terminator swapped Mach! Big thanks to Caleb @ Fastlane Motorsports for all his hard work and skill today. Made the entire drivetrain swap look easy. From the new 8.8 rearend flange needed for the new Cobra aluminum driveshaft, to the wiring mods for the cobra alternator and engine harness. He loaded a tune in my computer and the car fired right up. Drove it home and it was super smooth and ran great with the new 6 speed. Got a few things to complete such as mounting the shaker, hooking up the intercooler pump and heat exchanger and then it will be 100%. Starting removal of Mach 1 engine and 3650 transmission - Prepping Terminator engine and T56 transmission - Installed and finishing up final connections -

Teskid block, forged internals at 8.5:1 CR, Borg Warner S369SX-E at 9-18psi, G-Force 1000hp TR3650 with Quicktime bell, 6 point bar, 31 spline mosers, reinforced torque boxes, full length sfc, return fuel system, etc. 4.10 gears at the moment. Also have 3.55 and 3.90 on the shelf. Should be right around 700whp, but dyno has been low priority. Will see track time after some house projects. The goal was to have a 10.0 legal car that I can drive to the track, swap tires, turn up the boost, rip on it a while, and then drive home.
Few updates - Finally found the time to do some upgrades to the Mach 1. Installed the Metco 4# lower pulley setup. Added the 3.2 alternator pulley. Installed the powder-coated valve covers and added some different bolts for a better look. Installed the 80# injectors and got Caleb @ Fastlane to write me a new tune file to get it running till I can get back on the dyno. So far this thing runs great! The Kennebell screams now and the torque is much improved! I have the Kooks long tube headers and 3" X-pipe to install and then final dyno tune. Hoping for 650-675rwhp. Also got my 17" Bogart RT wheels in. Test fitted them and they look great. Fit like a glove!
Great looking cars. I keep coming back to see if anyone ever posts a picture of my old car... Thread seems to be dead. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
