Make the switch, you won't regret it. If you can wait a month or two they'll start going on sale to clear stock for the new pixel.

I think I'd probably go ahead and get the new Pixel.

Had Pixel 2XL and moved to Pixel 3XL when it was released. I'll be going to the 4XL next month as well.

I've had a lot of phones in the past few years, and find zero reason to change from the Pixels.

Running Android without all the bloat is incredibly noticeable for performance. Best camera on the market by far (Pixel 4 rumored to have even better camera).

IMO, Pixel with a 3rd party launcher = perfect phone.

The latest pixel hardware is over a generation behind, they screwed the pooch. I wanted a Pixel so bad, but couldn't buy it over the S10. Hopefully the new Pixel is up to the latest standard of hardware, because I hate the Samsung software and would really prefer the no-bloat pure android version.

Went with a 6T instead of the Pixel. The lack of ram and negative reviews really put me off.

6T has been my favorite phone yet. Although the wife has a Huawei P20 Pro who's camera puts everything I've seen to shame.

How's the rest of the Huawei P20 though?

I use Nova Launcher. There are plenty to chose from and really depend on what you're looking for as far as functionality. I found Nova the best for what I wanted though.

That's what I'm seeing based on the comparison I looked at. I'm hoping the Pixel 4XL will at least be on par with the S10+, if not exceed it.

The Pixel will perform as a phone better with less long term problems than Samsung by far. The still camera is miles better as is software support. The hardware will last longer too. If you want a phone that accesses the internet and plays nice with apps the Pixel is the clear winner.

Samsung has more bells and whistles though as well as accessory support. It's also miles ahead of the Pixel for video and audio recording. The Pixel is absolutely abyssal that regard. It's why I stopped buying Pixel phones and switched to LG. I think LG is making the best phones on the market right now IMO. The Pixel is really bad with app management too due to a severe lack of ram. Google's phone division is in free-fall I don't see them fixing these problems with the next generation.

S8 here, ordered from Samsung so it's unlocked and no Verizon bloatware on it. It's still flawless. It's been so perfect I haven't even paid much attention to newer phones so right now I have zero need for a new one.

Don't know, she loves it. I don't use it.

Screen and case are sharp, seems like a very basic android interface, much like the 6T.

Almost thought Apple got serious, but then I saw those prices are when you trade in an iPhone X.

Apple used to be the trend setter, now they are following trends that are 2 years old.

Those phones look like any genic Chinese power phone.

Many would argue (and rightfully so) that that's the way Apple has always been with mobile devices.

I have the new note 10+ and love it. I use it heavily and have plenty of battery left when I sit it on the charger at night. The Bixby button is gone as well, which is a nice change.

LG makes a good phone without Samsung’s bloat. The worst phone I’ve had in recent years was Samsung.

As far as Apple riding coattails. Apple has never had the top camera or other items. Nokia 41mp camera in 12. Nokia had the best lowlight camera back then too. The have a 5 camera phone that can create 64mo images. My Nokia n900 was one of the best phones I ever had.
Apple has always seemed to bring it together in a seamless form. It just works. Multiple people I have spoken with go back to Apple, no more missed emails or messages or duplicate text they share.
