Will be replacing the #flatheadv8 with a #termanator&t6.

Has anyone done this? If so, any advice?

You will have more then enough room. Interior floor trans cover will make trans selection and interior mods a breeze. Keep us posted on progress!

Now THAT should be an interesting project to follow. Are you planning to document the build in a thread?

seems like a fun project.

i'm planning a similarly radical build in the future. gonna put a 67 f100 stepside on a lincoln navigator 4wd chassis. going to lower it and build a turbo mill. should be a badass sport truck.

Sounds like a great project!

Slow build. Just got a massaged flat head V8 back from #flatheadcity that’s going into my ‘53, 2 door hardtop.

That would be awesome!

I miss my 51, I’ve always loved F-1’s

I imagine you’re going to replace the frame right? Crown Vic?

Yes, that’s the plan box the frame and do the Crown Vic front suspension swap. I’ve got a Lincoln Versailles rear diff with the factory disc brake setup to put on the rear.

This what it looks like now.

I had, for many years, a '52 Mercury M1 with a flathead V8. It was decked out with Offenhauser 10:1 heads and some other goodies. Sols it just before I bought my Cobra. I just didn't have room for all my vehicles so the Merc had to go.

That’s a great project! A build thread would be a great idea even if this is a long term build.

I have Versailles axles, calipers & brackets, and rotors for sale CHEAP. I had them on my ‘66 Mustang but recently upgraded my brakes. I’m in Pittsburgh PA if you are interested and close by.
