Test & tune at MIR Sunday Mar 8th anybody is going?

I am going to test & tune at mir on Sunday march 10th along with some friends,,I know there is test & tune on Saturday and maybe rental on Friday but weather is looking much better on Sunday .Just wanna throw this out to MACA if anyone interested.

Leaving from 0830 from National Harbor Sunoco station down to MIR on Sunday 3/10/13. We will be at Best Buy in Waldorf, MD at 0900 and leaving Best Buy at 0910. We should be arriving at MIR around 0940/0945 and gates will be opening at 1000. Everyone who is looking to head down Sunday is welcome to join in!

Well It was my first time on track with 3:55 gears just wanted to see how my car would do with 3:55 gears and 28" tall tire,,car was full weight with balled m/t drag radials,,no weight reduction at all.
1st run= 1.7 60ft ,,,ET 11.10 with 128mph
2nd. =1.9 60ft. ET 11.30 with 125mph
3rd =. 1.9 60ft. ET 11.20 with 127mph
4th. =. 1.8 60ft ET 11.10 with 129mph
I couldn't beat my best time which was 10.90 in last fall but that was with 4.10s and new drag radials ,,,so with 3:55 s I think will go with 26" tall tire .I need some weight reduction ,,some skinnies,, and some slicks.
Overall it was fun day.

^ Just ran the numbers. In 4th gear @ 128 MPH you were crossing the traps at ~5400 RPM. With a 26" slick you would be going through the traps at ~5700. So you would gain 300 RPM out the back by going from the 28" to 26".

^ Just ran the numbers. In 4th gear @ 128 MPH you were crossing the traps at ~5400 RPM. With a 26" slick you would be going through the traps at ~5700. So you would gain 300 RPM out the back by going from the 28" to 26".

Thanks a lot Jason ,,while I'm gonna need new set of tires anyway so I think I will go with 26".
