So I was back at Texas Invitational this year. An event unlike any other, average street car making 1500+whp and over a dozen cars making 2000+whp.

I plan on running the spring event next year, even then my 1000+whp Z06 will just get dragged by everyone. Anyways, enough talking.. here are some pictures I took

Twin Turbo, 1500hp

Beautiful Cars! Hope to make it out one of these years.

They ever figure out the unicorn vette? From the 1320v video it was trapping like a 1200whp car, not 2300whp+?

If that's a real ACR, then that person is an idiot. Running a 1/2 mile event with that aero and wing is stupid.

Thanks guys! It's definitely quite the event to attend if you are able to get on the list.

Texas Invitational is not a 1/2 mile event.

It is a TA 2.0 built by Nth Moto, you will see it in FF8:thumbsup:.

I'll be on the lookout for it then! It'll stick out like a sore thumb with that gorgeous blue.

They're still working it out. They hurt the motor and have changed some stuff up over the last year and a half. Nothing in that car (drivetrain and suspension) is conventional.

They finally made a full 1/4 mile pass the other week.. 8.40 @ 173 on LOW boost. Car makes 1400+whp on wastegate only...

Then they can crank both turbos up for ~2000whp.... then they got 2 kits of nitrous on top of that.

Remember the video from scorchTv from the car's first night out on the street? Where it roasted the tires just cruising at 80mph, then it tried again and jumped over 3 lanes and almost ate shit? ... That was wastegate only, happened right in front of me, lol.

I'm sorry, I must have missed you at the event. What did you run at Texas Invitational this year?

Oh so I have to run my car to point out something that is common sense? Running that aero and wing is counterproductive to going as fast as you can.

You called someone an idiot for not pulling the aero off their 1,500 hp TA Viper (your words) for an event with no prize...

And they are an idiot. Isn't the point to be able to go as fast as you can so you can beat the other car? I mean why go out there otherwise. You're just hindering the car's potential with the aero on there. Maybe I'm just competitive and want to win whether there's a prize, money or a trophy on the line or not.

It's easy to criticize on the internet when you're not even on the driver roster.

Bro that Viper does not have active aero on it like a million dollar 918, La Ferrari, P1. That aero is there for a reason, there is no need to pull it off. Sure it hinders top speed runs, its called compromise, but it also adds stability. In a RWD car with that kind of power having downforce is nothing but a blessing. This isnt an NHRA event, these are street cars. A TTv10 has no problem making power to make up for it anyway. Maybe you should enter that event in a 2k hp rwd show everyone how easy it is.

People throw around 1000 rwhp, 2000 rwhp, 2500rwhp numbers and pretend its like driving a 400hp car. Anyone who hasnt driven or at least been in a 1000 rwhp car just doesnt understand

Wow, such awesome high power cars. That would be an awesome event to attend. I'd get a thrill just watching them run. Imagine what an adrenalin rush to drive one.
