Ouch! Yeah we don't get charged by what they're worth or however the hell they do it over there lol. No state income tax either.

Yes you can keep a loaded gun in your vehicle. There are no restrictions on long guns but handguns have to be out of sight.

Unfortunately we aren't a constitutional carry state, yet. You have to be licensed to conceal carry or open carry but the process is easy and TX is a "shall issue" state.
you wouldn't believe the CA gun laws. it's a ****ing joke.

can you have suppressors? what does it take to have full auto?

tell me more sweet sweet stories hahaha

LOL. Well it's not all sweet. It's ****ing hot here, but not all the time. From late October through April it's pretty damn nice. Cities are expanding like crazy and traffic can get shitty depending on where you are or where you're going, but you'll have that in any big city though. Right where I'm at it's not bad at all I love it.

Gun laws are some of the more lax ones in the country but not totally. Like I said we don't have constitutional carry but it's easy to get your license. There are restrictions on where you can carry but they're starting to loosen that up more as well.

Car scene is pretty badass all over too. All in all it's a pretty nice place to be. The problem is it's turning blue pretty quick. We need more patriots here to offset the socialist loonies coming in!

well, I am used to hot ass heat lol, like 99-110 is the norm. It's the snow that would probably kill me. Traffic wise, I would take that compromise no problem. The gun laws sound super lax. Compared to the bullshit here in Kali. Goddamn commies over here !
It's funny cause I should have been born in TX. I'm super conservative Republican lol. Most ****ers in CA are the opposite.

The nice thing is that the forecast, at least as it reads now, has the SA/New Braunfels area finally dipping into the low 90s within the next 15 days. I'm so over the freaking high heat with the high humidity. Looks like we will have some rain too, finally. It has not rained a measurable amount where I am since June.

nxhappy, just hurry up and make the move! First pint is on me.

*Edit* Shortly after I made this post, it started to rain. Cannot beat that!

I hear ya man. It's still hotter than hell. It's gonna be 95-100 up until October. I'm used to it. For me it's no big deal, as long as I have a lake to go in haha. Rain ....not sure what that is LOL. wont come until december. Either way come spring my ass is outta here !

We went to San Antonio this past July from OKC. Man it seemed like one long city after Dallas. Might as well combine the cities and call it East Texas City.

any of you gents familiar with Lubbock ?

I’m there every other weekend

It’s a college city ( Texas Tech ). Young kids everywhere

Great nightlife . Close enough to the oil field to work in it, far enough away that you don’t see it
