Okay, my son and I are packed to do 2,000 miles in the GT this weekend, we have our usual police escort into the infield.
Who's else is going?
Super snakes, saleens all are welcome, we are going to set up tent in the infield. Wont miss us, a 2006 Ford gt with the doors wide open and everyone taking pictures with the kids.....

U get me into the infield and I'll bring my car up, not that I have anything close to the level of your GT. From my understanding infield parking is pretty scarce these days.

There is so little corporate sponsorship, that its becoming a fan based event again. The cars are pre fab, you cant put a mystery motor or chassis. So its a car persons weekend.
If your like me and went when INDY was KING, The last year was 1997, after that and the death of Scotty Brayton, its all over.
Emmo in the back stretch at 256..........unreal days with Mercedes engines, cosworth, chevy , buick, lotus.
It now a fun weekend. The race is secondary. Come on down my friend, we can have a Ford picnic.
