Kinda a goofy list, as it's listed by number built. I'd take a 69 or a 70 Boss any day of the week, and their way down on the list.......not that I could ever afford one. :rolling:

What bout the 03/04 Saleen and Roush Cobra's? There like 4 of each, and i know one Roush was totaled.

I've seen numbers posted here that in 1998 there were 3,174 SVT Cobra Coupes built, that is lower than 95 SVT Cobra coupe model quoted in the list....

Just sayin.

It's interesting to read all the original numbers of the rare Mustangs. I'd
be even more interested to know present-day numbers of the survivors,
especially # 81, an 86 SVO, and # 85, a street 93 Cobra. Might anyone
know a source of said, present-day info....?

Hell no. Until a formal recognition list is formed and every car is accounted for, it's only anyones best guestimate. Specifically the 93's, there is no telling how many of guys pigeon-holed these cars away in storage or their own garages. A few of them pop up from time to time, but I'm sure there are more out there.

There were 36 1965 GT350R's built. Also bummed the 2000 Cobra R missed the list, oh well, maybe next time.

These are the rare ones that should be garage kept. As for the Saleen Mystics, there was only 1. Thats why you see all over the place that there is 1,999 and the 2000th one(or 1st one made) was the Saleen Mystic with I believe a 351. I forget the name they called it, but its nice. I believe that one is hidden away somewhere.
Nice list though, alot I've never heard of.
