Great looking little truck! For the people on this thread mentioning the hybrid version, I’m going to chime in. The last few months I’ve had a 24 XLT Hybrid as a demo vehicle, my commute is about 70 miles round trip.

In the fall when the weather was warmer I was averaging around 5.0L/100 km which converts to about 47 US mpg. That’s a mix of 30-50 mph roads and the display at the end of the trip shows I’ve done about 30-40% in EV mode. In the colder winter weather it’s down to about 39 mpg which is still quite good I think.

I haven’t driven one with the 2.0L EB to compare, but overall I have really enjoyed this truck. Usually I have a Bronco Sport for a demo but the Maverick might be my new favourite.

GPF? Not sure what you mean.
Gas Particulate Filter. My understanding the reason your truck has less power than last years is due to the exhaust filter restriction. (Just like the diesel particulate filter DPF on diesel trucks)
Sometime the "regen", where the filter "cleans" itself is super problematic on diesel trucks. I'm hoping that isn't the case for GPF cars.

I really wish they made these in hybrid AND 4wd/AWD, with 4WD being the preference. For the rare days in southeast PA I need to drive with snow on the actual roads a quick click of the button to get to work while getting 40+ mpg the rest of the time would be awesome.

They do! Just started this year, AWD Hybrid.
Although, I believe they're CVT only and pretty sluggish compared to a 2.0 9sp version.
True 4wd would be nice, but from all the Subaru's around here...AWD is good enough from a daily standpoint to get around in the north east.

No kidding! Taking a look now. I had a hybrid 2016 Fusion with a CVT and it was enough to merge and pass someone which was fine. But it was FWD and in a snow storm last January (2024) I couldn’t get into work, had to return home and take wife’s car. I traded it in on a WRX shortly after that. Thanks for the info.

The CVT on the hybrid makes me go, blah. Any issues with those things?
I didn’t have a single issue with mine, traded it with 127k on it. I mean, it was completely soulless but that’s the point, keep the RPMs at bare minimum. Really really liked that car for a daily driver, just wish it was awd.

I've heard that isn't coming until job 2. Mine was a job 1 build. Who knows if it's true or not.

I was running late for work today and put it in sport mode and took off. I made it to clock in with 46 seconds to spare, lol. If I was driving our 04 F150 4.6, I would of been late I feel.

That would be awesome if your Job 1 2025 didn't get the GPF! If that is true...it might still have 250hp as well....who knows?

Update, love this little green machine. I live 7 miles from work on city streets, and still average 21 mpg. Freeway is around 29. Peppy when I want it to be, love all the options coming from a 2004 F150. Only wish it had cooling seats along with the heated ones. No regrets.

I live in FL. Sometimes I get to drive cars with cooled seats at work. Love those things. Only new feature I like in modern cars. I wish all cars had them honestly.
