Thinking about getting new stang 5.0

    Over $5k off seems like a great deal, but they have figured on Military rebate, Ranger loyalty cashback and Ford financing. I wasn't even sure those two rebates were compatible. Without those two rebates you are looking at $1250 over that, plus $499 doc fee.

    You don't get the Track Apps display in the base model either.

    I would check out Capital Ford in Rocky Mount. They normally have a decent inventory.

    Are there any mods needed for the auto for when I put a s/c on it? any cooling/ valve body mods? 550-600 whp. 600 is nice even number :)

    I think part of the reason the auto is much stronger is Ford used this tranny in the 2009 F150 before it made its way to the mustang.

    Right and it is in the Raptor. I just didn't know if you need to get a new converter or cooling system for it.

    With the manual I'm sure you only need to replace the clutch. Not a big deal as I've done many before.
