I just found this forum. It is great to be able to talk about what is happening in the streets . The forum I've been on for years will not let you make any comments about what happens on the streets. For the last 10 years I have driven a FFR Cobra that I built. There have been so many times that the wife and I go for a cruise and have a 350Z or some other turboed four banger Focus come up and rattle your ear with their fart can. In the ten years that I had that car I could have put quit a few meat balls on my fender but red meat balls on a red car just don't show up well.I have really enjoyed some of the stories. Roger

Welcome aboard! I built a FFR Cobra at my place for a garage-less friend. Great project and a really fun toy. They are quick even with a 225 horse 5.0.

Pics and specs or ban!

I just sold the Cobra last summer. I bought a 1965 Falcon that has a highly modified SVO Boss 302. It is really a 310cu ni long rod motor,Built AOD,9 inch with 4.11 gears. It has coil overs front and back with four link rear, and CPP tube upper and lower control arms. I bought it a couple months back. So far the only upgrade to it that I've done is switching out a PA built C-4 to the AOD. I do have plans for more upgrades as the funds come along. Roger

Thanks for updating with pictures. As mentioned, that's really nice.
I have no ideal what kind of times this car will turn. I know it runs pretty good. The first week I had it I left my home in it to go for a little cruise and pick up some pop and a few snacks for the house . One block over from my house is Fort street. It is a four lane road with a 50 mph speed limit. As soon as I turned from the side street on to Fort st a white 85 Malibu passed me ,as I sped up to the speed limits the Malibu slowed down. I caught up to him before the next main intersection. He got in the lane next to me and jumped on it and then let off a couple. We stopped for the light side by side. When the light changed I rolled into it and then floored it. The tires spun some but it still hooked pretty good. We started off with him pulling me by a 1//2 car. As soon as I went into 2nd gear I pulled up even with him and then started to pull away from him. By end of 2nd gear he was behind me at least 2 cars. I went into 3rd and kept pulling away from him. I ran 3rd up to about 6000 rpms and then let off. I red line this motor at 7000rpms.From what I could see of him in my mirror he was a bus lenght back. When we got to the next intersection he waved and turned right on Vreeland rd.I have seen the car at a couple of the local cruises. The guy boost its a 383 stroker with a Auto trans. Not sure of the gear he's running. He does have MT street slicks. He claims that he run at Milan drag way a lot .I'm not sure and don't care, but it was fun. I do plan to take my car to Milan Dragway next spring. By then I hope to have some sticky tires for the back and a few upgrades to it. Roger
