There are 4 aircraft flying in formation. All are separated by the same distance. What formation are they in?

Not hardly. If they were lined up 4 across the two on the end would be separated by three times the distance of the inner two. There's only one formation that would allow any of the 4 aircraft to be equidistant from each of the other 3.

im sure some of the fighter jet pilots can shime in. Im only aware of the MIA formation where one is missing on one of the sides(correct me if im wrong please)
