Today is a sad day for me (car got burned)

Well , today is day i take farewell from my dream car which is a 2012 Shelby GT500. Rest In Peace

Had the car since 2013 here in Sweden.

Took the car with me this week to work which is in another city , because i had my company car for repair since last week.

Parked it in front of the hotel where i live for work , a truck car next to my car was on fire at night for whatever reason , when i saw what's was happening from my room window i tried to go out immediately and tried to save my car but was too late. Because as soon i was close to my car the truck was exploding. Was too dangerous.

Insurance and police are investigating the situation. There is a security camera nearby , hope they can find something from it.

Will see how it goes with my insurance with the valuation for my car. It has actually hold its value here in Sweden since i bought it. The car is rare here. Only very few GT500 exist in Sweden.

I spent a lot of money for the car and parts, bought suspension parts , shifter , axleback and many more other things.

will put some photos here , and try some videos also.

Maybe i will be back in future with a new Shelby GT500 again , who knows.

The car is already at junk yard , i know all the mods and also have receipt for most parts.

But insurance rules here in Sweden are different to USA i think. They won't count on parts mostly and don't care about them. only the car with its additional equipment does matter for them.

There are some free parking lots , i Parked it far right side purposely so i could check my car sometimes from my room window to see if everything is ok with it.

And this dude with Polish licence plate came yesterday to the hotel and parked next to me.

I don't know why he would park next to me from all the parking lots available at the hotel.

Insurance is probably the same. What ever you do don’t take the first offer. Or second. The longer the file sits on their desk the more money you get. Come up with the number you want and hold out until that insurance company pays it. They will eventually.

Thank you so much guys for all the support, love you all and this community we have on this forum.

Hopefully it will go well with my insurance , i have never been in a situation like this before. It's first time happening.

American V8 Muscle cars are special to me , they always been in my heart.


Most thing about my car that i will miss is the sound from Borla ATAK exhaust , it was unique.
