So a little while back I hit a curb and it tore the bolt holes in the bumper. I temporarily fixed it but this weekend I want to do it right. I am a novice at this but it doesn't seem hard so let me know if I am missing something.
1.Remove the bumper
2. Sand the plastic down around any bolt hole that needs to be repaired
3. use aluminum tape on one side of the bumper
4. I am going to use 3M semi rigid plastic repair
4. when dry sand and make sure the bolt hole is clear
5. new u clips and bolts to hold the wind panel to the bumper
Did I miss anything? I haven't used the 3M stuff but it looks like it should work. Its just an epoxy.
