Family trip to Texas state fair, then heading down to Houston and Galveston.

Looking for thoughts on car rental for 2 adults and 2 kids in car seats. cheaper the better

And cool places to stop and see. outdoor indoor anything really

of course BBQ PLACES!!!!

will be down for about two weeks. So please let me know what you figure and anything will be helpful.

Hutchins BBQ in Mckinney (just north of Dallas) is my absolute favorite, I try to make it a point to go there when visiting my parents.

Was ranked #2 in nation. Hope I am not making that up...but its the real deal. Be prepared to wait a long time. If you are time crunched, I like Goode Co BBQ as well
