Bought new wheels for my car and am looking to get new tires to keep the stock wheels/original tires together.

The wheels are 18x9 Fronts and 18x11 Rear.

The tires and quote I was given was:
Toyo T1 Sports 265-35-18 -$240per
Toyo Proxes R888 -$390per

These prices were from a quote from a local shop who I am planning on using to mount/balance the tires on my new wheels. The prices do seem on the higher side, but not only that they said that the R888s are on backorder and they cannot get them for another 60-90 days. Any thoughts SVTP?

High price for sure a guy just posted in talk about buying some on a site for a good deal they are sold out now. I would shop around everyone can't have a back order.

Tirerack is on backorder so is another local shop. That deal through simpletire was for a 17" wheel, or I would've been all of over it though I believe they are out too! Damn these tires seem to be hard to come by!

what size rear's are you going to run? And when are your wheels coming in, I thought it was another 4 weeks or so?

They should fit fine, but looks like I will be running TQ 315-35-18s now. No one has them R888s in stock  Guess I am missing out on a damn good tire.

I got mine from Phils Tire in New York. A buddy of mine had mentioned them and it equaled out to be the same price shipped as what tire rack had without shipping ($660 shipped for both, 335/30/18 R888's)

May be worth a shot, it sounded like they kept a decent supply and that was the cheapest price I could find to get them to my doorstep.

UPDATE:
Went and ordered 315-35-18 TQs...could not find the 305-35-18 R888s in stock anywhere. Basically the exact same dimension tire in the end just different tread compound and pattern. Heard good things about the TQ, the only negative I good find is shorter life but for the price I could live with that as long as they perform.
