Track times on the mpss tires

This is the first time I have taken it to the track since I bought it. I lowered the psi to 21 and let it rip or spin you could say. Best 60' was 1.93 out of three runs but I could never go wot in first or shift hard into second w/o it blowing off the tires. First run 12.1 @ 124 with a 1.93 60'. Second run was a hot lap 11.9 @ 122 1.94 60' but I was easy on the pedal in second gear. Third run was a cluster from the get go 12.3 @ 123 2.16 60'.
My next tires are going to be dr's for sure. Not to bad for street tires though, I think some low 11's are in this car along with more mph.

Another 11 gt500 was there with straight pipes/off road h,Bama tune,2.5 upper and 15" mt's running 11.4 @ 124.

I forgot to mention I have the dreaded grind on the 1-2 shift, it did it all three times.:nonono: A shifter is in order.

11s with the grind is quite good. interesting too see once you sort it out (wot box/shifter/tranny oil change out?)

I don't have the grind but I can tell you my car shifts smother with the wot box than without. I know I know it maybe a band aid but it's one that works reall well. Times are great by the way especially without drag radials!

I did the trans oil but it hasn't grinded since. I can't go wot in first and at the track was as close as I have been to it and the grind is back. Other that the trans shift fine in every other condition.

I don't think the wot will help unless I put dr's on it.
