Rushed over to DMP as soon as I got the call from Dante, my heads were delivered.

DMP ordered quite an extensive order I guess, but they only delivered 3 sets at this time, and then in the next two weeks more sets will come per TF.

I have been researching these heads like crazy and I will be having some extreme custom work done to mine, but I do not want to let that info out at this time.

I know DMP is working with another head specialist as well on some of thier heads, but not the same stuff I'm doing.

Here are some quick pics for now, more detailed pics and info to come:

The heads look great! I know Trick flow heads make great power on LS1s, i hope they do just as well on mod motors.

[ame="http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121612"]240cfm right out of the box[/ame], more than any stage 3 cnc'd stock head port jobs available I believe.

Some basic dyno results from applying them to a 4.6 here.

I know its all the same forum thread, but its like 100+ pages of thread. I sat and read each post too (probably a few others too). :D

These will be going on my new buildup too. In fact, the truck is already taking up room down at the DMP shop ;)

    nice nice!
240 outta the box is sweet...wondering tho at what lift is that at though?
also what do you think these things will flow once folks start hogging em out?
I know my brothers lightly worked 5.3l heads flows something like 320cfm if i remember right and his is an N/A application if that makes much of a difference.

dang 320 cfm! thats some heavy numbers! on a chevy silverado?..Did he lose torque down low? I used to have twisted wedge heads on a 5.0 back in the day..Figured more is better and had them heavily ported with cams and the powerband moved way up, made it sucky for the street..

Its my understanding that supercharged cars would actually respond in an opposite manner than N/A or turbo'ed engines (that rely more on different variations of intake and exhaust velocity and other factors). If anything our trucks should pick up quite a bit on the bottom end shouldn't they (and still benefit up top)?

Very nice. Are they Romeo heads by chance? How much extra for the cam kit?

They are neither Romeo or Windsor actaully, remember the only differences were the cam caps/girdles, the 8mm/10mm timing cover bolt holes, valve cover bolt patterns, and breather/oil fill locations.

    TF:

These heads will accept either valve cover bolt pattern and uses either stock OEM valve cover gasket :coolman:

Then there own designed cam main and caps.

8mm small 4.6 bolt hols for the cover (I will be drilling and tapping mine).

And obviously due to the varying valve cover possibilities you can have whichever oil fill and breather/pcv setup you want.

Then there are a lot of other small design changes that are really cool too, for instance they have a provision in the rear of the head to drill and tap up to 3/4" for a "coolant mod". No need to modify your intake now! Extra oil passages with block offs comes with all plugs, the new intake valve angle, etc.

These heads are not perfect, but they are a big plus in almost every way IMO. FFS

yeah the first thing i noticed was the way the cam mounts in those things.
however by drilling em (even tho its only 2mm) wouldnt you be removing some possibly needed meat there man?
also i wanna see how that actually sets up in there with the valves being in different locations. I cant wait to see what these things will do

The research i have done has shown that jlp and wwms have very similar flowing heads. How does these heads flow compared to them?
