The car was listed as wrecked and the supposed owner was parting it. I took this pic from his post on FB Marketplace. I was interested in the tanks, but after I texted the owner, I realized it was a scam. The post is gone now. However, I was so impressed with how these tanks looked, thought I'd ask around on the forum in the off-chance someone had a set available. They would look nice in my black coupe.

That is a sick looking engine bay.
I always see ads where people want to buy these.. I work in supply chain as an operations manager. I deal with machine shops and fab shops daily. if some one could source me these tanks I could make a few more of them if everyone wanted to do a group buy. Assuming its not stepping on any ones toe since they aren't being made any more and no one wants to step up to do it.

Well lets find a set a set and get this ball Rollin.... If worst comes to worst I can always just make them up myself as it doesn't look too difficult. Just need to get a MOQ of a certain amount to cover the costs.
Yes, I would be interested in a set as well. Not what I've seen them on Ebay for over 800 though.
I found a guy that's making tanks on Instagram, he's also on Facebook. Lance Flathers is his name he may be on here too, not sure. He has a beautiful built DSG 03 Cobra. Super nice guy and very responsive. I placed a deposit on one. His next batch is due sometime in August. He's been having difficulty obtaining materials. Reach out to him for information. I attached a pic of his tank that is powder coated. He's only selling raw aluminum tanks at this time.

Set it up, if someone can make a post I’m sure you’d be able to sell several. Count me in once this gets rolling, just like the pic that OP posted.
I'm interested in the mono style. Someone definitely needs to set this up.
