Turbo 4v 4.6 dohc. 18 psi on 93 octane, Master power T70 turbo, custom Street Lethal Performance turbo kit and engine built by street lethal. Stock Heads, Cams, Intake, Throttle body.

I have been running 275 MT/ET street radials on 15 psi at 640whp and 690wtq with little traction issues. I think its time for some wider tires. What do you guys think for street use? I was thinking Hoosier quick time pros 28x11.5x15. My car is mostly a street slut.

Here you go man.... BTW, don't waste your money on QTP's. I never liked them on my car.

Nice numbers, and even better for being a baby master power. Investing in a wider tire wont fix the problem. Spare smaller rim and taller tire is what you need.

I honestly didn't know an MP70 could reach those high numbers. Nice!

That's why I was thinking of getting 15 inch wheels with a 28inch tall tire. Do you think that would be good?

Thanks everyone!

I do. Getting a wider tire with more rubber just doesn't fix anything. My 315 street tires don't do a damn thing. I have 275 hoosiers and leave on spray easily, plus your a turbo car so it wont hit the tire as hard although your a stick car. A good set of 28" slicks will work nice. Radials are faster, but will need more suspension and usually don't work just being slapped on.

So I should stay away from radials and get atleast a 28" tall tire. What tire do you recommend? I'm between 15x8 rim or 15x10 not sure if a 10" wide wheel will fit on my car being my rear end is out of a fox body.
