With the overreach of the EPA and how they are going after companies, will they target turbo kit companies?

I have heard rumors that some companies have already been discussing their business going forward.

Will turbo kits be next on the list of these retards?

Joe Biden has sniffed here.

Yes.

Luckily, I think the RPM Act will pass.
And do what?

You De-register your car and take it permanently off-road as a race-car.

The stupid act does nothing for enthusiasts, car modders and weekend warriors.

Dedicated Track-only are too few to sustain the industry.

I disagree.

It will open the door to keep these places in business.

I could be completely wrong, but right now, it's our best fight against the EPA.

You continue doing what we have always done. Install “off-road/competition” only parts at your own risk. With the act passed, it at least gives them the ability to manufacture and sell it.

But now they are cracking down on the production and sale of "offroad/competition only" parts. Loopholes and workarounds are being closed

That’s what the RPM Act is attempting to change. The post I quoted was in response to what happens after the act is passed.

The RPM act saves race cars but 99% of modifications are on cars with a vin, registration and licensed plates.

I see the DIY kit market about to explode.

DIY Headers, DIY Turbo kits, DIY Tuning/ECU

Sell the pieces and parts for you to assemble your own and weld up.

Somewhat apples to oranges here but one of the ways gun shops in Colorado get away with selling standard compacity mags for AR's is to sell you a "kit". Baseplate, spring and body in a bag. So I can see this happening with the performance aftermarket.

Or same things with the 80% lowers.... company can fab up complete headers but all the customer has to do is mill out the collectors LOL.
