Universal Borla Mufflers

Has anyone bought a pair of universal Borla S-type mufflers and had them welded in in place of the factory ones? How different would it sound compared to the Borla S-type axle back kit? I've always loved the way Borlas sound but $700+ for a simple rear section exhaust is just obscene.

I did. Didn't hate the sound but very quiet. I switched to the s type specific for these cars.

Which ones did you go with? Did you get any drone?

I have borla sport now and no cats, no resonator, and an x pipe. It sounds good no drone but not as good as my old cobra sounded with s type mufflers and an off-road x pipe

These uni Borla mufflers were on my car when I bought it. They sound like crap. They also have drone.This is even with the res delete.
