And if a movie was made about wealthy liberals molesting children on an island?
That's called a "documentary."
Universal cancels release of 'The Hunt' amid recent mass shootings
Because of recent shootings? Sure.
Will it cancel any other films having shooting(s) and such?
It'll come out around Xmas 2020. Watch.
They will do a few reshoots, editing and likely come up with another marketing campaign and movie name.
They have millions sunk into it and will want to make something back. Just look at the Red Dawn remake. Produced by AMC, but then bought by the Chinese, the movie sat for 5 years until it was redone to make North Korea the bad guy.
Original name/working title was apparently "Red State vs Blue State"
I wanted it to release. The "deplorable" hunted became aware and hunt back, with the main deplorable ending up killing the main hunter leader, as would be expected if you put a bunch of conservative gun lovers in an environment and tried to hunt them down, eventually theyd fight back and get the upper hand. I wanted to be a the theatres rooting for the "bad guy" deplorables the same way I watch Star Wars and root for "da evil empire".
Red vs Blue was taken lol (Halo guys).
