Upgrading a Gen 2 2.9 Whipple to a gen 4

He has a gen 2 and is looking into a gen 4. No sense in going gen 3 since the 4 is only a $200 upgrade.
And yes a turbo is a great option for some isnt for everyone, myself included

I was finally able to view the pics on my computer instead of my phone and see it was comparing whipples dyno to an independent dyno but it was a whipple gen 3 they were comparing.

Do it, one of the first gen4 guys dynoed at whipple and made 800+ rwhp, then went to a independent shop and made like 100rwhp less. Be nice to have more comparison data.

I think I have made up my mind of selling the gen 2 this fall/winter and get a new gen 4. As long as it's closer to $1000 difference
Between selling and buying new.

Im in the same boat. Im wondering if i should go fron 2.9 G2 to a 2.9 G4 Crusher. Its about a $2200 upgrade and id say around a 120hp upgrade

I just got a 2.9 GEN 4 Crusher a couple weeks ago. Not installed yet, but recently reached out to a shop here in Houston for install and prep for fuel system upgrade. Going E85.... I’ll let you know when I have some data.
