Some of you may have seen our live feed from the King of the Street dyno competition at Holley HQ in Bowling Green, KY. A lot of people have been asking for us to get some better clips together for an overall dyno contest video.

We have some awesome footage up, including Tony's compound boost GT500 pushing over 1100RWHP, Andrew's liquid cooled KB GT500 pushing big numbers through an auto, Shane's Twin turbo Cobra almost joining the 1000RWHP club, etc.

Interesting choice of cars this year, that fox might put down nice #'s but it's still an epic failure.

I loe the KOTS competition but they need a scoring change or change the nameto King of the dyno. You could put down 1200hp and run 12.7 with shitty driveablilty and win over a 650hp car that runs mid 10s and is factory smooth driveable.

No matter what anybody thinks that fox is sick (minus the wing, the doors and the lights)

I have to agree. The guy that owned it was really humble...

"ahh, we'll see how it does, i had some last minute things blah blah blah"

Being the only Foxbody, it had a tough road ahead of it. Then it came out and put down almost 1000RWHP! It was a good day for him on the dyno.

Looks like it's a competition to turn mustangs into supras. I tell you what, I though the fox was sick with a 140mph trap, until I learned it made over 800 at the tire.

I had a few friends from here that went. A white big turbo fox body coupe that ran 8.80's and 8.90's, a black twin turbo 03 Cobra that ran a 9.38 I think and a gray and black KB 03 Cobra that broke the transmission.
They go almost every year and have a blast. I wish I could have gotten off work to go!

Why is there cars with high 500hp in the competition, could they not find anyone else to make it more interesting. Especially when the average 03 cobra makes more then that.

Lots of killer cars in there... I would hate to pull up next to that twin turbo black cobra though.

My favorite was definitely the twin turbo cobra.

I don't know, I have to be honest... that compound boost GT500 apparently drove on the street like a factory vehicle until you put your foot into it. Can you imagine getting 17MPG with 1140RWHP. Ridiculous.

So I guess it's a toss up between the twin turbo cobra and the compound GT500.

My good friend Nick has the white couple w/ the blue stripes. Not bad for a car slapped together in a garage in SE Missouri and the fact that it delivers pizza's sometimes also! HAHA

That was definitely my favorite in the group. A local guy (member here), Juiced46, has a twin-turbo '03 Cobra that I makes over 900rwhp on the race tune. Would have been neat if he could have taken his car to this event. ;-)
